The Dell Pro Max 18 is a workstation laptop, available in both 18-inch and 16-inch flavors, and can supply up to 200W of power to both CPU and GPU which includes the upcoming Intel Core Ultra 200HX chips and NVIDIA's RTX 5000 GPUs.

The upcoming Dell Pro Max 18 and 16 laptops are going to feature incredible specifications as per the recent leaks. While these aren't for the gamers, we are sure you can also game on it. As mentioned above, this laptop is available in both 18 and 16-inch screen sizes and will come with one of the upcoming Intel Arrow Lake HX aka Core Ultra 200HX CPUs to power the system.

As spotted on Weibo (via @94G8LA), the Dell Pro Max 18/16 was revealed along with its specifications, including the CPU, GPU, memory, storage, and other features. While the exact CPU model isn't revealed, it will be rated at 55W, hinting at the usage of a high-end Arrow Lake HX mobile chip. Intel hasn't launched any Arrow Lake mobile lineup till now but has planned to release them in early 2025.

Around the same time, we can expect the Dell Pro Max 18/16 to be unveiled officially. However, we don't need to wait to know its specifications. It's also one of the first laptops to feature NVIDIA's RTX 5000 series GPU, but this won't be the GeForce series as it may appear. Rather, it will be the Ada-based RTX 5000 workstation graphics card.

The laptop is designed to power both the CPU and GPU at a total of 170-200W, making it one of the first laptops to run at such a high power. Moreover, it is also one of the first notebooks to feature the CAMM2 memory and support for up to 256 GB memory capacity. CAMM2 memory reduces the traces to ensure faster response and can help with speeding up selected applications.

For storage, the 18-inch model can accommodate up to 4x M.2 2280 SSDs, while the 16-inch model can let users install up to three such drives. As you would expect, the laptop will heat up quite quickly and will need a powerful cooling solution. Hence, Dell has introduced a triple-fan cooling solution inside a magnesium alloy body to ensure both effective cooling and a lightweight build.

It's expected that the laptop will launch alongside Intel Core Ultra 200HX CPUs on 7th January but will be available to buy in mid-2025.
