Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is among the most visually impressive open-world games ever released, and the hard work of modders is making the visuals of the game developed by CD Projekt Red even more impressive. So much so that the game can be almost indistinguishable from reality.

A new video shared by NextGen Dreams showcases the game running with the DreamPunk 1.0 mod, a graphics overhaul that includes a complete rework of lighting and weather conditions, a custom LUT for SDR and HDR based on DaVinci tone mapping, better ray tracing and path tracing and more. The end results are seriously impressive, giving the game different vibes that some players will surely appreciate.

And with NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 second generation transformer model, and the improvements it will receive over time, these visuals will only get better in the future.

These modded visuals are almost as impressive as Cyberpunk 2077 running natively on a smart device. Last week, we reported how the game by CD Projekt Red can run on a Lenovo Legion Y70 at high settings, 720p resolution with an acceptable level of performance, despite some visual glitches and performance drops in populated areas.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One worldwide. You can learn more about the game's 2.0 update and the Phantom Liberty expansion by checking out Alessio's review.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty builds upon what was an already great game to deliver more fantastic storytelling (with a spy thriller theme, this time around), exciting combat, and very high-quality side content. The perk tree overhaul is a major improvement to progression, and additions like vehicle combat and the overhauled police system are very welcome, albeit not game-changing. If you've been holding out on Cyberpunk 2077 until now, you'll find a huge game with over 120 hours of quality content and an incredibly immersive game world to literally lose yourself in. On top of that, it's by far the most beautiful and technically advanced game available if you have the hardware for it (PC and RTX 40 GPU).
