Crimson Desert Patch 1.003 Adds Storage at Howling Hill Camp, Improvements to Keyboard & Mouse Controls and Much More

A new Crimson Desert patch is out.

Despite selling two million copies on day one, Pearl Abyss has had to deal with a few controversies related to the Crimson Desert launch, including the not-so-great average reviews, the stock crash, the fact that it doesn't work on Intel ARC GPUs at all, and anonymous reports alleging issues with the studio culture. That said, the developers are also highly focused on simply improving the game based on user feedback. After the day-one patch, they've already released a new update that adds private storage at the Howling Hill Camp, allowing players to store Inventory items.

Patch 1.003 also introduces more Abyss Nexuses across Pywel to improve fast travel, improves keyboard and mouse controls by adding keyboard shortcuts for Inventory (I), Skills (K), Journal (J), and Map (M) and fixing various duplicate key assignment and input bugs, and introduces a 120Hz mode toggle on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in Settings.
