Colorful has offered a new trade-in promotion where users can redeem up to $1000 US value upon buying a new GeForce RTX 40 GPU.
You Can Get Up To $1000 US Discount If You Trade-In Your Older Colorful GPU For A Brand New One
The official Colorful China outlet over at JD.com has announced a brand new promotion allowing users to trade in their older graphics cards to get discounts on their newest purchases. The promo will be applicable on all new purchases between the 7th of May till the 21st of May. Colorful listed a total of 16 cards that are applicable for trade-in along with their value in RMB. The list can be seen below:

- Colorful GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER - 1100 RMB ($160 US)

Colorful also states that owners of an iGame Neptune or Vulcan variant can get an additional 200 RMB off which will bring the maximum trade-in value to 7400 RMB or $1070 US.
For those who are interested in claiming this offer (limited to Chinese residents), you will have to make the purchase of a new Colorful GeForce RTX 40 or 30 series graphics card by 21st May and send your card to Colorful through 7th May - 31st May. The shipping costs will be covered by the user. After the card has been sent out, it will be reviewed and tested to make sure the card runs fine and based on its condition, you can get a peak value from the list we shared above.
Rules & Requirements
- Buy a new graphics card
During the period from May 7th to 21st, purchase any graphics card products from the Colorful store (Colorful JD.com self-operated flagship store).
- Send the old graphics card
From May 7th to May 31st, send your old Colorful graphics card to Colorful using the address mentioned at the official website (the express shipping fee will be borne by the user).
- Review and testing
We will review the authenticity of your order for the new graphics card you purchased, and perform functional testing on the old graphics card.
- Refund to account
If the order is correct and the function of the old graphics card is normal, we will refund you the discounted price within 10 working days after receiving the old graphics card.
After all the checks have been made, the value of the old graphics card will be refunded to the user account within 10 working days. The new Colorful GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs are also bundled with a copy of Resident Evil IV Remake which adds an additional $60 US to sweeten the deal. For those users who don't want to get into the hassle of selling their older cards by themselves, this is a good option. ASUS also offered a similar trade-in promotion for its graphics cards a while back.
