Now, it is worth noting that ChatGPT Voice is nothing new, as it has been around since September earlier this year and offers a really nice AI experience. It is a lot like talking to a virtual assistant, but this assistance does not sound robotic or stiff in terms of the responses. The voice assistant is actually capable of pulling its spoken content from AI responses, which are already a part of the large language model that ChatGPT uses.
ChatGPT Voice is now available to all users for free - the feature was previously locked behind a paywall, but iOS and Android users can now go ahead and use this feature without any issues.

If you are looking to use ChatGPT Voice, you just have to ensure that you are running the latest version of the app, and you can go ahead and start having back-and-forth conversations with the language model. Just open the app, tap the headphone icon, and start speaking, and the activation will work.
