Nov 18, 2018 at 11:15am EST

CBS network announced that it will broadcast the first televised Gamers’ Choice Awards on Sunday, December 9th, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST, right after the NFL game.

The press release highlights that the Gamers' Choice Awards are the only 100% fan-voted awards in gaming. Voting is now open on the Gamers’ Choice Awards website and will close on November 27th; in order to vote you'll have to register an account.

Below we've compiled the list of nominees. Strangely enough, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been segregated in a separate 'Fall Release' category alongside Fallout 76, Battlefield V, and Warframe: Fortuna.

Needless to say, the 2018 Gamers' Choice Awards seem to be in direct competition with Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards, which are due only a few days earlier this year.
