Capcom has revealed its lineup of games for Gamescom 2026, headlined by the upcoming Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the recently revealed Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override and Street Fighter 6. Gamescom attendees will have the chance to play all four titles at the publisher's booth in Hall 9.
With Gamescom set for the end of August, players keen to get their hands on the first new Onimusha game in years will be able to try the game out once more ahead of its September 25, 2026, release. Though you can also try it out right now at home if you want, since there's also a demo currently available on all platforms.
Street Fighter 6 is another game that you don't have to wait for Gamescom to play, but hopefully attendees will get first crack at some of the fighters revealed for Year 4 during Summer Game Fest, the first of which (Yasmine) set to arrive at some point this summer.
Obviously, what's more worth the trip to Hall 9, Stand A070 are the games you can't yet play at home, the only one of which among the four mentioned here being Mega Man: Dual Override. It'll be interesting to see how players react to that demo, as it's the first brand-new Mega Man game since Mega Man 11. It was first revealed back at The Game Awards 2025, so hopefully its second major showing is stronger than the first.
