Capcom is aware of the widespread Monster Hunter World Xbox One multiplayer issues, and is currently working on a solution.

Monster Hunter World players on Xbox One have been suffering from various multiplayer issues as of this weekend. Users have been unable to use the matchmaking feature on Microsoft’s console, and the ‘squad session search’ option isn’t available either.

Capcom has now acknowledged the connection issues through the official ‘Monster Hunter’ Twitter account, and has confirmed that a fix is currently in the works.

“Hunters on Xbox One, the “Matchmake”, “Filter Search”, “Squad Session Search” and “Response to SOS” functions are currently unavailable; our dev team is currently working on a solution and we’ll provide an update as soon as it is available.”, the tweet from the official Monster Hunter World Twitter account reads.

The publisher has also provided a workaround to play with other Xbox players using the ‘invite a friend’ option, the Xbox’s Looking-for-group feature, and joining an online session by ‘Session ID’.

Monster Hunter World was released last week for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can find our very own review here. Spoiler alert: It’s great.
