Capcom is back. That's a widespread sentiment within the most hardcore gaming communities, especially from those who had seen the glorious heydays of the beloved Japanese publisher. The company's latest three major launches (Monster Hunter World, Resident Evil 2 remake and Devil May Cry V) were all considerably successful and Capcom is now confident enough to shout it from the virtual rooftops. During the Devil May Cry V launch party, CEO of the USA division Kiichiro Urata proudly did so and Producer Matt Walker shared the brief clip on Twitter for all the fans to see.

Our reviewers loved both Devil May Cry V and Resident Evil 2, as you can read below from the respective summaries.

Devil May Cry V

Devil May Cry V is the best entry in the series and one of the best character action games ever released. In addition to its excellent combat mechanics and level design, which expand greatly on the elements introduced in past games, the story and characters had never before received such focus in Devil May Cry. The game may be lacking in extra content such as the fan-favorite Bloody Palace mode at launch, but don't let this small flaw prevent you from getting what will surely be one of the 2019 Game of the Year contenders.

Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 2 is a polished, respectful remake of a survival horror classic that probably would have benefitted from a slightly more daring approach. Hints of a braver revamp are sprinkled throughout, but it doesn’t take the risks necessary to join the canon of truly great video game remakes. Make no mistake though, if you loved the original Resident Evil 2, you’ll likely love the remake, and new players who can tolerate a few old-school quirks ought to have a gruesome good time as well.
