AMD's Ryzen 7 9700X & Ryzen 5 9600X "Zen 5" Desktop CPUs have been listed by Canadian retailer, PC-Canada, along with preliminary prices.
AMD Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" Desktop CPUs To Have Plenty of Stock At Launch, Canadian Retailer Lists Ryzen 7 9700X & Ryzen 5 9600X
We have seen plenty of retail listings for the AMD Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" Desktop CPUs at European retailers and a few at North American stores. Now, PC-Canada, a major retailer based in the North American region has listed two chips in the lineup, the Ryzen 7 9700X and the Ryzen 5 9600X.
The retailer has the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-Core Desktop CPU listed for CAD 516.99 which converts to $380 US while the Ryzen 5 9600X 6-Core Desktop CPU has been listed for CAD 400.99 or $295 US. These prices are very similar to the MSRPs of the current Ryzen 7000 SKUs. The Ryzen 7 7700X had an MSRP of $399 US while the Ryzen 5 7600X had an MSRP of $299 US. Both of these chips are currently available at some heavy discounts in anticipation of the new Zen 5 products which will be hitting retail shelves later this month.

The prices fall in line with previous retail listings which also show that the Ryzen 9000 "Zen 5" CPUs will cost about the same as the Ryzen 7000 "Zen 4" chips, if not less. Based on the leaks that we've seen, the Ryzen 5 9600X comes close to the Core i5-14600K which currently retails at around $300 US while the Ryzen 7 9700X is around Ryzen 9 7900 performance which currently retails for $369.0 US.
In addition to the prices, PC-Canada also has a real-time inventory system that keeps check of all stock coming in. Currently, the retailer is expecting 1594 units of the Ryzen 7 9700X to land in stock by the 16th of July while 50 units of the Ryzen 5 9600X CPU are expected to land the same date. We can also expect a huge stock of these chips coming in right before the retail launch on the 31st of July.
Based on information from our sources, we can expect AMD Ryzen 9000 Desktop CPUs to have plenty of stock at launch to cover the high-end PC gaming segment. We must also mention that the prices listed here are preliminary and could be adjusted before the launch to match the official MSRPs.
