Bluehole Announces New MMORPG Called Ascent: Infinite Realm

Bluehole may have recently surged to the news for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, the Battle Royale game that's crushing all sales records having just surpassed 20 million units sold.

However, MMORPG fans already knew the Korean studio because of their first project, The Exiled Realms of Arborea (TERA). The game launched in the first half of 2012 and rumors had been whispering about a spiritual successor for quite a while.

Bluehole finally put those to rest earlier today by announcing Ascent: Infinite Realm, their new steampunk-themed MMORPG, at G-Star 2017. You can find the five-minute gameplay reveal video below, as well the initial feature set revealed by the developer.

Ascent: Infinite Realm will feature the following five classes to choose from: Warlord, Sorceress, Gunslinger, Assassin and Mystic. You can find more info on their skills on the official website.

No platform has been announced yet, but PC is a given. Consoles are a strong possibility, too, considering that TERA is being ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and PUBG is also launching on Xbox One's Game Preview later this year.
