A new Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora mod released today promises to bring performance improvements on a variety of system configurations while also making the game playable on a mechanical hard drive.
The Disk Cache Enabler mod, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, promises to improve loading times and reduce pop-in issues with SSDs, especially if they are not particularly fast. Additionally, the mod makes the game playable on mechanical hard drives, although that is still not advisable, especially for a huge open-world game like the Massive Entertainment title.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been receiving plenty of love from the modding community since its release last week. An NVIDIA DLSS 3 mod was released earlier this week, bringing a performance boost that is pretty much in line with that brought by the game's official AMD FSR 3 frame generation implementation, which is the best we have seen to date. The improvements made to AMD's tech are definitely good news for all PC players, as FSR 3 frame generation can be used on all GPUs, unlike NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Generation, which is exclusive to the RTX 4000 series cards.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Amazon Luna.
