AURAS displayed its brand-new cooling solutions for AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, including a water-cooled motherboard and a next-gen RTX design.
AURAS Hints At Next-Gen NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs To Cap Out At 600W TDPs, Water-Cooled Motherboards For AMD & Intel Chipsets Showcased
Auras, a major Taiwan-based cooling manufacturer, has showcased its brand new innovations for GPUs and motherboards. The manufacturer is responsible for supplying cooling equipment to a range of graphics card makers and OEMs, and they went all-in to showcase their new solutions at the Computex showfloor.
We will start off with the most interesting one, which is the NVIDIA GeForce "RTX 5090/Next Module". This specific cooler comes with a cooling capacity of 600W and features a triple-fan cooling design in a 3.75-slot form factor. The cooler is equipped with a vapor chamber and adopts square-section heat pipes to improve thermal performance, allowing higher efficiency with low thermal resistance, and also comes equipped with RGB lighting.
We were a bit curious as to what the "Next Module" meant, and talking to a representative of Auras, we were told that the cooling solution they have designed for the RTX 5090 is, in fact, even ready for the next-gen lineup. The rep didn't explicitly say if this was going to be some Super Refresh of the RTX 50 series or a new lineup, aka RTX 60 series. But they were confident that 600W is going to be the limit of NVIDIA's next-gen design, and their cooling designs are more than enough to keep those cards running optimally in terms of thermals.
The company also showcased its AMD Radeon RX 9070 module, which is a cooling solution for the RDNA 4 lineup, offering TDP support of up to 350W. This solution features a triple-fan and 2.8-slot design and comes equipped with seven double-condenser heat pipes, which, once again, offer a high-efficiency air flow with low thermal resistance. The cooling solution is also equipped with RGB LEDs.
Another highlight is the motherboard cooling solution, which features an all-out liquid cooling design. The motherboard comes with a full-cover liquid cooling solution for both the MOS (VRM) and M.2 areas in a stylish transparent acrylic cover, which fuses in LED lighting. The board will get universal G1/4" Threaded fittings, making sure that it is compatible with a wide range of custom-loop solutions. The motherboard showcased was a prototype with an AMD AM5 socket, but the company confirmed they are also supplying customers with Intel sockets.

We also got a look at AURAS's new AIO CPU cooling solution, which is compatible with both Intel and AMD platforms. It offers a cooling capacity of up to 253W with a 360mm aluminum radiator, and offers low-noise operation with ARGB Lighting and an Infinity Mirror design.
Lastly, AURAS showcased its RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 heatsinks, which offer up to 600W and 400W cooling capacity, respectively. The RTX 5090 design features 11 square-section heat pipes and adopts vapor chamber cooling, while the RTX 5080 design features 9 square-section heat pipes with a vapor chamber and comes in a triple-fan and 3.2-slot design. It's always interesting to see equipment makers, rather than manufacturers, showcase their innovations, and AURAS was a hidden gem on the Computex showfloor.
