AT&T has just surpassed its major competitors when it comes to debuting value-based plans by launching an entirely customizable wireless bundle that entails the lowest entry price among comparable plans from Verizon and T-Mobile.

AT&T brings at-scale flexibility and customization with its new 'Build-a-Plan' wireless bundle

AT&T has now announced the launch of its "Build-A-Plan," an entirely customizable wireless experience designed to empower consumers with fiscal and functional autonomy over their mobile connectivity.

Expected to go into effect on May 27, 2026, the new customizable bundle addresses the growing market demand for financial flexibility by enabling users to tailor and modify their plan parameters on a month-to-month basis, all the while dismantling the "one-size-fits-all" approach traditionally favored by major carriers in the United States.

AT&T's Jenifer Robertson believes the new plan is a "win-win" for consumers:

"By giving our customers the freedom to tailor their wireless service month to month, we are giving them an affordable way to connect to America’s largest wireless network and still control their budget. It is a win-win."

As mentioned earlier, the base tier of AT&T's 'Build-a-Plan' starts at $15, and offers unlimited calls and texts along with 1GB of data.

If you want more generous data allocations without specialized features, you can secure 15 GB of data alongside unlimited talk and text for a total of $25 per month.

You can also replace your 1GB data limit under the base tier with unlimited data (SD streaming) for an extra $20 per month.

Do note that this offer is restricted to customers who bring their own unlocked, eSIM-capable mobile phones. Also, subscriptions under these tiers are capped at one line per account.
