ASUS debuts all-white RTX 5070 series graphics cards by releasing the PRIME RTX 5070 and TUF RTX 5070 Ti white edition GPUs.
ASUS Unveils TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 White Edition Graphics Cards; The First White RTX 50 GPUs in the ASUS Inventory
After releasing tons of models for the RTX 50 series, ASUS is back with some gorgeous white designs for those who want an all-white gaming build. Surprisingly, unlike other vendors, ASUS didn't have any white RTX 50 series GPUs until now, but with the introduction of two white edition GPUs, ASUS has expanded its lineup, catering to the demands of consumers with different tastes.
The first one is the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB GDDR7 White OC Edition, an all-white RTX 5070 Ti GPU with a triple-fan cooling solution. The shroud and fans are completely white, and so is the backplate. All of them exhibit the TUF Gaming branding, and the card has a dedicated LED zone at the edge to spice things up.
It's a thick 3.125 slot card with dimensions of 329 x 140 x 62.5 mm. So, noticeably bigger than the Founders Edition, and should also weigh more. The GPU incorporates the use of military-grade components and protective PCB coating for better durability and reliability. At the I/O, you will find a total of five output ports, consisting of 3x DP 2.1b and 2x HDMI 2.1b ports. Since it's a factory-overclocked design, the TUF RTX 5070 Ti White OC edition brings up to 2588 MHz in boost clock and up to 2610 MHz in OC mode, which is considerably higher than the 2452 MHz on the Founders Edition.
The second card is the PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 White Edition, featuring an all-white design as well as a triple-fan cooling solution. Unlike TUF, the PRIME series is more of an affordable family, and with clocks closer to the Founders Edition. The PRIME RTX 5070 White does bring a slightly higher boost clock of up to 2557 MHz in Default mode and up to 2587 MHz in OC mode compared to 2512 MHz in the Founders Edition.
It's a 2.5-slot card and, of course, much longer than the FE edition at 304 mm in length. Both the TUF RTX 5070 Ti OC White and PRIME RTX 5070 White edition cards are supplied with a single 12V-2x6 connector for power requirements, and ASUS recommends 850W and 750W PSUs for them, respectively.
