ASUS teases several different series of Z890 motherboards for upcoming Intel Arrow Lake CPUs in a Facebook short video.
ASUS Z890 TUF, ROG, STRIX, PRIME Motherboards Teased For Next-Gen Intel Arrow Lake CPUs
The leading motherboard manufacturer, ASUS has today uploaded a short video on Facebook, teasing their upcoming Z890 chipset motherboards. The video is a teaser for the upcoming Intel Arrow Lake processors, offering the LGA 1851 socket. The description of the video starts with "Ready for the Future?" and in the video, we can see the teaser ends with "Intel Next-Gen Motherboards COMING SOON".
This short 18-second video shows a few glimpses of the upcoming Z890 ASUS motherboards. One can easily identify them if they are familiar with different motherboard series by the company. The first one is one of the ROG Z890 Maximum boards, meant for enthusiast-level performance. ASUS usually releases a few motherboards in the ROG Maximus series like ROG Maximus Formula, Apex Encore, Dark Hero, etc., some of which we already have in the Z790 lineup.
We can see that there are a few high-end ROG Z890 motherboards teased in the video. The first one shows the ROG logo on the M.2 heatsink joined with the chipset on the motherboard, which is followed by the I/O shroud, revealing an LCD for displaying custom content. The next motherboard is also from the ROG Maximus series but has a different I/O shroud. The third motherboard shares the same ROG series and features an LCD panel on the I/O shroud but with a different design than the previous boards. The ROG motherboards include the Extreme and HERO models.
The fourth one is the ASUS Z890 TUF Gaming motherboard as can be seen from the slogan "GET TUF GAME TOUGH". The fifth is the Prime Z890 motherboard but if you pay close attention, the I/O shroud design is identical to the Prime X870-P motherboard for AMD Ryzen 9000 processors. ASUS typically releases several models under the Prime series, which serves as an affordable lineup for gamers.
The sixth one is a ROG Z890 motherboard in the HERO sub-series, which is meant for serious overclockers. The last one is once again from the ROG series and displays the slogan "FOR THOSE WHO DARE". If we are correct there are a total of 6-7 motherboards teased in this short video. However, ASUS will probably launch many more after the official launch as it does usually.
Z890 motherboards from ASUS and other vendors are expected to be launched alongside Intel Arrow Lake processors on 24th October. Many other motherboard makers have started preparing their Z890 motherboards for the launch, which will be the first to feature the LGA 1851 socket.
