The latest special edition ROG Swift OLED gaming monitor is now available in both standard and stand versions in China.
Popular Chinese Platform JD Lists ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-GR Edition 20 Gaming Monitor for Sale, Starting at $1327
Some of the ASUS ROG Special Edition 20 products are now getting listed for sale. We recently saw ASUS listing its ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 graphics card for a whopping $5,499 on the official store, making it one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive, RTX 5090 from the company.
While all the hardware in the lineup is still taking its time to arrive on the shelves, some have already reached the stores, revealing the true prices. If you remember, ASUS also launched a new high-end OLED gaming monitor called ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-GR Edition 20 alongside other ROG Edition 20 products.
This is a special edition gaming monitor that was launched as part of ROG 20th anniversary celebration. The monitor is available in two variants: Standard and Stand version, where the latter offers a highly ergonomic arm, taking adjustments to the next level. The standard edition also brings an ergonomic stand that allows basic adjustments, and with these two, ASUS is offering different options to users based on their preferences.
As of today, these two monitors have been listed on JD.com, a popular e-commerce store in China, which is usually one of the first stores to list the latest hardware. This monitor is known as "ROG Strix G15 27 PRO OLED" in China, and has been listed at 8,999 Yuan or US$1327 for the standard edition. On the other hand, the stand edition is a bit more expensive, listed at 9,499 Yuan or US$1400.
These are probably one of the most expensive OLED displays ASUS has ever launched. The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-GR is definitely not similar to the existing OLED monitors, as it peaks at 720 Hz when it comes to the highest refresh rate it can operate at. The monitor displays dual modes, featuring 2K@540Hz and 720p@720Hz, and offers the latest Tandem OLED technology for higher brightness, more color volume, and longer lifespan.
Moreover, it offers the TrueBlack Glossy panel for a zero-haze surface and is equipped with ASUS OLED Care Pro with Neo Proximity Sensor for reducing the risk of image burn-in. We are yet to see its official price tag in the US and in other regions, but we can expect a similar price as in the Chinese market.
