ASUS has launched a new Mini-ITX AM5 motherboard, the ROG STRIX B850-I Gaming WIFI7 W, with white aesthetics.
ASUS Adds One More Mini-ITX Motherboard To Its AM5 Lineup, the ROG STRIX B850-I Gaming WIFI7 W In White
ASUS is offering a new revision of its ROG STRIX B850-I Gaming WIFI motherboard, which was released a while back. This new Mini-ITX offering retains the same feature set, but goes for a white aesthetic for PC builders who are going for the white theme.
Just like the previous model, the ASUS ROG STRIX B850-I Gaming WIFI7 W features the AM5 socket and will be ready for the next-gen Ryzen families, including Zen 5-based APUs and Zen 6-based CPUs. It has a high-end 13-phase power delivery, including 90A Power Stages, powered by a single 8-pin connector, and features two DDR5 DIMM slots with support of up to 128 GB capacities and speeds of 9600 MT/s+ (OC).
Expansion slots include a single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot with Q-Release SLIM, and two M.2 slots which operate at up to PCIe 5.0 x4 speeds. There are also two SATA III ports for storage. The motherboard offers a whole range of overclocking features, such as ASUS's Dynamic OC Switcher, Core Flex, PBO Enhancement, AEMP for memory, and DIMM FIT PRO.
As for the design, the ASUS ROG STRIX B850-I Gaming WIFI7 W motherboard features a large VRM heat-sink that features an embedded VRM cooling fan. The M.2 slot and PCH are also covered by a heatsink for extra cooling. There are also several EZ PC DIY solutions on the motherboard, such as M.2 Q-Slide, M.2 Q-Latch, Q-Antenna, and Clear CMOS / BIOS Flashback buttons.
