ASUS has rolled out new updates for its ROG Ally handheld which adds support for AMD HYPR-RX & 900p resolution alongside a list of bug fixes.

The newest and major feature that the ASUS ROG Ally has received is support for AMD's HYPR-RX which will let users take advantage of three major features, Radeon Boost, Radeon Anti-Lag+, and Radeon Super Resolution. Knowing that the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU on the ROG Ally features an RDNA 3 graphics chip, it can utilize all three said technologies. This will allow gamers to enjoy a better and smoother gaming experience with faster FPS through a list of supported games. AMD is not yet rolling out AFMF (Fluid Motion Frames) technology to APUs but we can expect it to roll out soon once the technical preview is completed.
