Six months after the official launch, the flagship NVIDIA RTX 50 series card is now seeing steady decline in prices, which indicates better availability than ever before.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Drops to Official MSRP; You Can Now Get the ASUS TUF Edition for $1999 on Best Buy

The flagship RTX 50 GPU, i.e., GeForce RTX 5090, has been seeing some gradual price drops in recent weeks. Almost all the RTX 50 series GPUs have now dropped close to their official MSRP and some are even below the official price tags in various regions. The NA market still sees higher prices than in EU, particularly for the high-end models like the GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5090. RTX 5090 is rare to find at $1999, and you will mostly see the card listed at $2300-$2700 these days.

Thankfully, after several months, we are almost back to the original price, as one of the custom editions has been listed on Best Buy for $1999. This is the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, which is currently available for purchase at the official MSRP. It's the base model with 2407 MHz boost clock, but can boost to 2437 MHz in OC mode. The GPU offers a triple-fan configuration and a vapor chamber cooling solution with 12 heat pipes for faster heat dissipation. The GPU offers Dual BIOS that allows switching to either Quiet or Performance mode.

We have tried searching for the lowest prices for the RTX 5090, but we couldn't find any other GPU that is currently listed for the MSRP. The lowest we could see is the MSI Ventus RTX 5090 3X OC edition, which is currently available for $2299 on Walmart. Most GPUs are still way more expensive. In the EU, the prices are generally lower these days, and one can easily find an RTX 5090 for MSRP or even lower than that.

So, the ASUS TUF RTX 5090 might be one of the best GPU deals for today, and if you need something that can max out graphical presets at 4K, this will be a fantastic choice for your gaming build. However, considering that the prices are gradually falling every week, you could see a lot of RTX 5090 GPUs getting closer to their MSRP in the coming weeks.
