This is the second motherboard with both DDR4 and DDR5 slots and is aimed at entry-level builds with Intel processors.
ASRock Quietly Debuts H610M COMBO II Motherboard With DDR4 and DDR5 DIMMs; Entry-Level m-ATX Board with Just Three DIMM Slots
This is the second consumer motherboard that supports two DDR types (DDR5 and DDR4). ASRock unveiled a similar motherboard, the H610M COMBO, at CES, which brought both types of DIMM slots onboard for users who need flexibility to choose between DDR4 and DDR5 memory modules. The new model is called H610M COMBO II, which is another similar Micro-ATX motherboard, but is positioned in the entry-level segment.

The first model was a m-ATX board as well, but had more PCIe and DIMM slots. This one brings the same H610 chipset, but you will find only three DIMM slots, while the first variant brought six slots. So, it appears to be an affordable solution for users who plan to use a 16 GB or 32 GB memory configuration. The H610M COMBO II is compatible with the Intel 12th, 13th, and 14th gen processors, and offers a 6+1+1 power phase VRM.
The DIMM combo slot design allows users to populate either the DDR4 or the DDR5 DIMMs, but not both simultaneously. This means you can use only one type of memory at a time. At a time when finding a memory kit at low prices is extremely rare, this motherboard offers the flexibility to build a PC according to memory availability. DDR4 RAM kits are still selling at a noticeably lower price than the same capacity DDR5 RAM kits, but keep in mind that since it supports only a single DDR4 module, it's crucial to get a higher capacity module.

The rest of the specs aren't that interesting since it's a very basic board with a few slots for everything. You get an M.2 Gen 3.0 slot for NVMe SSD, four SATA ports, a single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, and a single PCIe 3.0 x1 slot for adding expansion cards. Rear I/O features a few USB ports, but no USB Type C. There is no built-in WiFi, but only a 1G LAN for the internet. Users can add a PCIe WiFi later if they want access to wireless connectivity.
Price and availability have not yet been announced.
