Apple normally hosts its software-focused keynote in the first week of June, and according to the latest rumor, the company is expected to hold its WWDC 2023 event on June 5, assuming a series of rumors turn out to be true. To remind you, last year’s World Wide Developers Conference happened on June 6.
Evidence of Apple WWDC 2023 rumored date arrives in the form of flight app details
Flight dates were revealed by Flighty app developer Ryan Jones on Twitter, along with an image that shows three destinations converging towards California, which happens to be Apple’s headquarters and the location of Apple Park. The dates are all displayed as June 4, and shortly after the tweet was published, we were met with some usual commentary from some known tipsters in the Twitter space.

Starting with ShrimpApplePro, who has gained a substantial following for accurately providing details surrounding Apple products, he stated on the same platform that WWDC 2023 will be held on June 5. After that, SnoopyTech shared the same date, suggesting that we should pay special attention to the first week of June. Also, before WWDC 2023 actually kicks off, Apple officially announces the event a month prior.

Last year, Apple announced WWDC 2022 on April 6, and sure enough, just a month passed, and on June 6, the actual keynote kicked off. With WWDC 2023, we can assume that Apple will put out a press release on April 5. While the company’s World Wide Developers Conference is focused primarily on software, there is a possibility that things will go in a different direction. The rumored AR headset could see an announcement at the event. If that does not happen, then at the very least, we should see an operating system preview.
