After the Apple Vision Pro’s launch was unveiled by the company, it did not take long for the first ad to be uploaded, likely to hype up the product before its imminent arrival. The ad is titled ‘Get Ready’ and shows a few features of the head-mounted device, along with some notable characters you might have known by watching countless hours of TV shows and movies, so let us check it out in more detail.

Apple Vision Pro ad shows various movie and TV characters, hinting that the device should primarily be used for media consumption

At the time of writing, the Apple Vision Pro ad titled ‘Get Ready’ had already garnered more than 150,000 views on YouTube and featured notable characters that you have seen in your favorite TV shows and movies. The ad shows these characters donning masks, glasses, and other accessories, making it a symbolic reminder that users will also be putting on the Apple Vision Pro similarly.

Assuming you regularly watch a slew of TV shows and movies, you will notice in the Apple Vision Pro ad that there is Iron Man, Ant-Man, Snoopy, SpongeBob SquarePants, Star Wars, and several others. At the end of the ad, you can see a woman putting on the Apple Vision Pro for the first time, and the headset’s UI can be seen, giving us a glimpse of what wearers will see for the first time.

The Apple Vision Pro will retail for $3,499, with the company expected to hold pre-orders starting January 19. However, the head-mounted wearable will not be available to purchase just like any other Apple product and can only be reserved through an appointment system. Potential buyers who have made the reservation will then head out to their nearest Apple store outlet to try out the headset for the first time.

Select Apple retail store employees were said to receive training on the Apple Vision Pro, as these people will be the ones to approach customers and ask them to try on the device. The training sessions are meant to teach employees how to make wearers comfortable and apply an exact fit of the Apple Vision Pro for an optimum viewing experience.

At $3,499, the Apple Vision Pro will probably not be a ‘home run’ product, but at least its inception can establish a firm ground, allowing more affordable mixed-reality headsets to materialize in the future.
