At $189.99, you get a blend of excellent and seamless pairing, matched with impeccable audio quality that can be expected from a product in this class. Best of all, the company has improved its internals and features while maintaining the original design. While we agree that more color options would have been a great decision for personalization purposes, having the AirPods Pro 2 available in white is not a bad choice either.
Only recently, Apple introduced a USB-C charging case for the AirPods Pro 2, meaning that you do not have to carry around an additional Lightning cable. Assuming you own any one of the latest iPhone 15 models, that is an even bigger plus since none of the four devices launched last year charge through the Lightning interface either. Thanks to Apple’s custom H2 chip, you can expect the second-generation AirPods Pro to deliver improved noise cancellation, lower latency, and increased seamless pairing reliability. According to the company, the new AirPods Pro 2 now delivers double the Active Noise Cancellation while supporting Transparency Mode.
Despite maintaining the same size as the previous iteration, Apple’s second-generation AirPods Pro gets increased runtime on a single charge, with the USB-C charging case allowing you to take that listening time for more than a day. A single run of the AirPods Pro 2 can last you for 6 hours with Active Noise Cancellation enabled, with the charging case delivering an additional 24 hours, with the total runtime increased to 30 hours. If you somehow misplaced the charging case, it comes with Precision Finding support and a speaker that emits a sound to let you know its position.
Also, do not think that just because Apple makes the AirPods Pro 2, the company will lock out those who own Android devices. These wireless earbuds can be connected to other handsets and computers, with the only difference being that you have to go through the Bluetooth pairing process from their respective ‘Settings’ menu. For $189.99, there are rarely decent wireless earbuds out there, but the AirPods Pro can easily be called the best premium audio products for less than $200.
