Apple preparing to potentially launch new products this month

New products from Apple might take shape as the company is reportedly making preparations to make announcements this coming week. A new report states that the company has informed retail teams that they will perform an in-store refresh in addition to making media briefings. From the looks of it, the technology giant could announce the new OLED iPad Pro lineup, along with updated MacBook Air models sporting the 3nm M3 SoC.

Retail stores will be internally decorated, along with adding marketing banners to commemorate the new Apple products

Two sources informed Supercharged of what Apple is planning when it comes to announcing the new products. Though these unnamed individuals did not explicitly reveal which products would be unveiled in the coming week, they have stated that changes to physical outlets, such as internal decorations, are being made, with marketing banners being placed. Of course, the older demo products are reportedly being swapped for new ones.

Select media members, including YouTubers, have scheduled briefings with Apple, which can range from receiving the new products to being informed of the embargo date and other details. Changes to various Apple retail stores are said to happen overnight on Thursday, March 7, while media briefings are reportedly going to be sent out much earlier. While we do not know what will be unveiled in the coming days, earlier reports have pointed to the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air, along with the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro sporting the new OLED panels and, of course, the M3 chipset.

However, there was a sketchy rumor doing the rounds that instead of the M3, Apple could use the M4 inside of the new iPad Pro models. Also, given that no other noteworthy upgrades would be inside of the new hardware, it is unlikely that Apple would host a dedicated launch event for its iPad Pro and MacBook Air family. Just like on previous occasions, we could see press releases on Apple’s website, making it a plain and simple unveiling.
