Apple's Pro Accessory for its Pro Tablet Will See a Refresh in March of this Year

Apple announced the Apple Pencil alongside the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and made quite a lot of song and dance about its capabilities. From pressure sensitivity to extreme precision, the Apple Pencil is perfect in a lot of ways. According to people familiar with the matter and Apple's supply chain, the Apple Pencil 2 will be announced in March. But the interesting thing to note here is that the accessory won't come out of thin year, instead, it will be announced at a proper media event at which Apple will also reveal the next-gen iPad Pro.

At this point in time, we are not sure what the new Apple Pencil 2 will bring to the table. But if we are to take a wild guess, then Cupertino could bake in even more precision along with improved battery life. There's speculation that the new Apple Pencil might possess the capability to attach magnetically with the iPad Pro when not in use by the user. Think Surface Pro and you'll know what we are talking about here.

These are all wild guesses, something which will confirmation as more reports pop up. But the bottom line is a plain, simple one: if you were hoping to buy yourself an Apple Pencil or and iPad Pro, then hold yourself back. Until or unless you really need Apple's tablet for urgent productivity work. It's a bad idea to buy a product when it is on the verge of being refreshed, so please, refrain from burning your money.
