AOC AGON PRO PD34 QD-OLED gaming monitor features Porsche 911 radiator design and premium display specifications
AOC revealed its brand new gaming monitor, featuring a Porsche 911-based design for its exterior. The new AGON PRO PD34 is a result of the collaboration between AOC and Porsche, which boasts a design that resembles the Porsche 911 radiator grille. The AGON PRO PD34 is more than a supercar-inspired monitor, boasting premium display specifications and features for gaming enthusiasts.
The AGON PRO PD34 boasts thin bezels and premium components to resemble the Porsche supercar. AOC used a sandblasted aluminum cast stand, which is ergonomic too, and lets users adjust the height, tilt, and swivel for various adjustments. All this while retaining its Porsche 911 steering wheel-like look to ensure users get a premium-looking high-end monitor for gaming and productivity.
AGON PRO PD34 features a 34-inch QD-OLED panel for an incredibly high contrast of 1.5M:1, resulting in realistic and deeper blacks for a beautiful image quality. It boasts a 10-bit color depth, resulting in 1.07 billion colors for vibrant color reproduction. Furthermore, the monitor delivers a wide color gamut, including 100% sRGB, 99% AdobeRBB, and 99% Cinema-grade DCI-P3 color spaces.
It features VESA DisplayHDR certification and can reach up to a peak brightness of 1000 nits in HDR mode, making it ideal even for outdoor usage. AGON has also equipped the PD34 with several gaming-specific features, which can be accessed from the OSD, allowing users to customize their experience through features like Frame Counter and Dynamic Dial Point.
To enrich the visual experience, the AOC AGON PRO QD-OLED monitor features an 1800R curvature for better gaming immersion and delivers 3440x1440p resolution for detailed visuals. It's super quick in response as well, featuring a 0.03ms GtG response time for reducing blur and ghosting. The PD34 runs at a high 240 Hz refresh rate, ensuring fluid gameplay, and also comes equipped with FreeSync Premium Pro certification to reduce screen tears.
Connectivity is also top-notch, delivering the latest HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports. Apart from the modern display outputs, it offers users several USB 3.2 downstream and upstream ports as well as a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with 65W power delivery so that users can charge their laptops and other mobile devices. Unlike standard monitors, the AGON PRO PD34 is equipped with powerful 8W speakers for convenience that are loud and clear enough for a satisfactory gaming and multimedia experience.
AOC has priced the AGON PRO PD34 ultrawide gaming monitor at £999 and will launch it officially for purchase on 18th September in Porsche Design stores, porsche-design.com, specialist retailers, and select online retail websites.
