Sony has launched its INZONE M10S OLED & M9 II gaming monitors which come in 4K 160Hz & QHD 480Hz design with DP2.1 support.
Sony brings a 480Hz OLED gaming monitor in the INZONE series
The popular electronic products manufacturer, Sony, has today unveiled two new high-end gaming monitors in the INZONE series: The INZONE M10S OLED and the INZONE M9 II. We recently reported that Sony is about to launch a brand new OLED gaming monitor in the INZONE series and it looks like Sony has fulfilled its promise. Plus, the company has offered one more gaming display in the lineup.
INZONE M10S OLED Gaming Monitor
INZONE M10S OLED is the flagship gaming monitor from Sony, featuring a 27-inch screen size and an OLED panel for great visuals and high contrast of 1.5M:1. The monitor boasts a resolution of 2560x1440p and can run up to an incredibly high 480 Hz refresh rate.
With a response time of just 0.03 ms, it is on par with modern OLED panels for quick frame transitions. The monitor can reach up to 275 nits of brightness and also supports HDR10 mode for vivid visuals. It features a 10-bit color depth to enable up to 1.07 billion colors and a 98.5% DCI-P3 color space coverage for vibrant color reproduction.
If you pay attention to its stand, Sony has completely changed it compared to the INZONE M9 from 2022. It no longer features a triple-pillar stand but rather a regular circular base. However, the stand is ergonomic and allows height adjustment up to 120 mm, -5°/+25° tilt, and -180°/+180 swivel.
The INZONE M10S uses 120W typically but reduces the power consumption to 23.1W in the ECO mode. It will be shipped with a 5-year warranty and is currently available for purchase on the Sony store and Amazon for a price of $1099.99.
INZONE M9 II Gaming Monitor
The INZONE M9 II gaming monitor is a 27-inch display, featuring 4K(3840x2160p) resolution and a refresh rate of 160Hz. The monitor is identical to the M10S in appearance but except for that, the specifications and features of the M9 II are mostly different.
It features an IPS panel that can reach up to 750 nits of brightness via HDR 600 support and boasts a 1 ms response time in Faster Mode. The gaming monitor is equipped with various connectivity ports, including HDMI 2.11, DP 2.1, USB Type B ports, USB Type C ports, and a headphone jack. Plus, the monitor also comes with 2W x2 speakers which the M10S doesn't.
Both monitors are equipped with INZONE Hub Software for various adjustments and customizations. The INZONE M9 II gaming monitor is priced at $799.99 and is available on both Amazon and the Sony store.
The company started its gaming monitor business in 2022 with the INZONE series, launching the M3 and M9 gaming monitors. Since then, Sony has been silent in the monitor industry but with the launch of high-end panels like M10S and M9 II, it is seeking to compete against the popular monitor manufacturers.
