Although Google is actively working on supporting Android 14, we keep seeing new updates and feature drops. It appears that work on Android 15 has already started because we now have a word telling us that Google is going to launch the first preview later this week. If that is the case, then this certainly is great news for anyone who has been waiting for the update to finally reach all the users.

Android 15 could land tomorrow on all supported Pixel devices

Based on a comment posted on Android Open Source Project on Tuesday morning, a Google developer talked about how the first Android 15 preview is "scheduled for" this Thursday. This means that there is a possibility that you might get access to the latest update by tomorrow. The developer is calling it "Android V," which is an internal codename and most likely means "Vanilla Ice Cream."

Maybe makes sense to wait until Android V will be available? Its first Developer preview is scheduled for Feb 15

If everything goes accordingly, the Android 15 Developer Preview will be here very soon. It is worth noting that you will be able to try the new developer preview on Pixel devices only, and it is safe to say that it will take some time before other devices start experiencing the same goodness that Pixel users will enjoy.

Honestly, I love how Google is constantly working on improving the experience with Android and Pixel devices. At the time of writing, I am really not sure what to expect out of Android 15, but considering Google, I can imagine that there are going to be a lot of features that will make the overall user experience so much better. My experience with Android 14 on multiple devices has been excellent, and I expect the same from future Android versions.
