Today's a big day for many non-Pixel users, as Google has announced that Android 15 Beta is now available for users of other devices, including Nothing, Oppo, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Vivo, and a couple more. On the other hand, if you are using Pixel devices, you can access the latest Android 15 Beta 2 by heading over here.
Now, based on all the information that we have received on Android 15, it has become apparent that the new update is not going to be much different on the surface, but several changes are baked into the operating system.
Google joins forces with several OEMs as their respective Android 15 Beta versions are now available
These small changes in Android 15 will improve the phone's performance and overall quality. With Pixel users already enjoying the Android 15 Beta, several other OEMs have also joined, making it much more widely available.
If you head over to Google's official Android 15 page, you can now see a list of manufacturers and devices that will be able to run the latest beta. This is the list that Google has shared with us:
- Honor
- IQOO
- Lenovo
- Nothing
- OnePlus
- Oppo
- Realme
- Sharp
- Tecno
- Vivo
- Xiaomi
Samsung, of course, is missing from the list, but that should not really come as a surprise. The company will launch its own Beta Program, which will be separate from what Google does. Considering how these phones have already received the beta, you should not have to wait a long time before Samsung announces the Android 15 Beta Program for its devices.
If you are wondering how you can install Android 15 Beta on your device, the process is not that complicated, to be honest. You just have to head over here, find the manufacturer of your device, follow the instructions, and you are good to go.
I am really glad Google is working closely with many other manufacturers to make Android 15 Beta more accessible. This goes to show that despite being widely different, these companies are willing to play together, which is always a good thing, and we don't really mind that.
