Galaxy Z Flip 6 FE version in works

Samsung is gearing up for its next Galaxy Unpacked 2025, which will be held in January. The speculations about the products that would make their way to the second event mid-year are already doing the rounds. We have been hearing about a Galaxy Z Flip FE being in work for quite some time, but it looks like a recent database spotting confirms what users have been long speculating about, especially those looking for a budget-friendly foldable. The database also gives us a hint about the Galaxy Watch8 Classic being in development and most likely to come alongside the FE model.

Samsung's highly anticipated products, the Galaxy Z Flip FE and the Galaxy Watch8 Classic are both in the work

Samsung has been the pioneer when it comes to bringing forward foldable technology, but recently, the market has seen fierce competition, with many other players taking the lead. It looks like the South Korean tech giant is determined to change that by developing a double-foldable phone and preparing to bring about the FE version of the Galaxy Z Flip phone.

While the rumor mill has been churning for a while about the potential FE model being in development, it looks like the model's existence has been confirmed through a recent GSMA database spotting via Smartprix. The Galaxy Z Flip FE is meant to be a more affordable version of the Flip model and emphasizes the company's ongoing efforts to reach a wider audience.

In the database, the phone is listed with the model number SM-F761B. The B is said to represent the foldable as a global version meant to be available to users worldwide. The industry database further revealed that the Galaxy Watch8 Classic is making a comeback after a year's gap, and it has remained one of the favorite series in the company's wearable lineup.  The watch is said to carry a timeless design with advanced features that help attract classic watch lovers and those looking for tech-savvy products. The Classic watch has been listed in the database with the model number SM-L505U.

While Samsung has brought forward FE versions of its flagship models, this would mark the first time the company is working on an affordable version of its foldable device. The Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to be powered by an Exynos 2400 SoC chipset. The models will reportedly be unveiled at the second Galaxy Unpacked event, which is expected to be held sometime in the August window, and will remain in the limelight of the event.

Samsung is determined to bring innovation and be back in the game, and we are excited to see more details surface about what the company is working on.
