The fastest Zen 3 gaming processor was just seen on an Indian retailer. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D is going to be back on more retailers soon.
Zen 3-Based Ryzen 7 5800X3D Processor Makes a Comeback by Appearing on an Indian Retailer at $310
The best-ever Zen 3 gaming processor ever produced is making a comeback, as we previously reported. Nearly a month ago, we saw a glimpse of AMD's Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary edition, and according to the sources, it is scheduled to launch in Q2. Since we are already in Q2, the processor has made its debut on an Indian retailer.
The popular leaker @momomo_us spotted the Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary Edition listed on 99deals.in. The processor is still in stock, but only 2 units remain as of writing. The CPU has been listed at 30,000 INR, which is equivalent to US$310. The processor initially launched at $449 in 2022, but with the Zen 4 and Zen 5 series releases, the processor slowly became more affordable.
Considering we have the Ryzen 7 7800X3D for around $350 on major retailers, a price tag of around $300 makes more sense for the processor. Ryzen 7 5800X3D remains the only high-end X3D processor on the AM4 platform and sees huge demand, as millions are still rocking AM4. Ryzen 7 5800X3D features an 8-core/16-thread configuration and 96 MB of L3 cache.
Based on the Zen 3 architecture, the processor was the first to use 3D V-Cache technology to add an additional 64 MB of L3 cache to the CCD. The processor was discontinued last year alongside the Ryzen 7 5700X3D. The latter didn't make any comeback yet, but considering that DDR5 platforms have gone incredibly expensive, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D remains the only hope for gamers who want to build a fast yet affordable gaming build.
We hope that the processor soon hits the shelves in other regions, and considering it is priced at $310 in India, we could see it listed for around $250 in the US.
