Huge Savings on Ryzen 5, Ryzen 7, and Ryzen Threadripper Right Now Ahead of Black Friday
AMD may have been out of the CPU game for quite some time, but 2017 was their comeback year. The release of both Mainstream Ryzen and the unexpected HEDT success that is Ryzen Threadripper have made them more than a viable option in the CPU realm, often being the better solution overall. Pricing from the beginning has been exceptionally competitive on the mainstream and even more in the high end segment, but right now it’s even more competitive than ever.
Without a doubt the Intel Core i7 8700k is a great step for Intel and is exceptionally fast and overclocks like a champ, but availability has run the CPU up to over $400 when you can find it in stock. The Core i5 8600k has even crept past the $250 price point, and both of these realities make these current savings even more tempting.
Ryzen Threadripper and the X399 platform offer up to 16 Cores and 32 threads for the most insane desktop load and for now the value is even more insane
Ryzen Threadripper 1950x was $999 is now $799 http://amzn.to/2zQU1HZ
Ryzen Threadripper 1920x was $799 is now $649 http://amzn.to/2zkuOpX
Ryzen Threadripper 1900x was $549 is now $449 http://amzn.to/2zSLzay
Ryzen 7 is the top end of the mainstream Ryzen segment offering 8 cores and 16 threads across all three models.
Ryzen 7 1800x was $499 is now $319.99 http://amzn.to/2zSlclc
Ryzen 7 1700x was $399 is now $279.99 http://amzn.to/2iyLjE7
Ryzen 7 1700 was $329 is now $269.99 http://amzn.to/2z3tjrX
Ryzen 5 is an interesting mix of quad and hex core processors featuring the wildly popular Ryzen 5 1600.
Ryzen 5 1600x was $236.66 is now $199.99 http://amzn.to/2iyTKPZ
Ryzen 5 1600 was $219.99 is now $189.99 http://amzn.to/2zVWVbN
Ryzen 5 1500x was $189 is now $164.99 http://amzn.to/2hDGDMn
Ryzen 5 1400 was $169 is now $147.80 http://amzn.to/2zVxR73
All in all if you’re looking to upgrade your Ryzen system or looking to build a new one this might be the perfect time to snag a processor. We’re not sure how long the price cut will last, but we do know it’s not a permanent one. Any of the mainstream CPUs can pair well with a B350 motherboard for an excellent cost effective build. My personal recommendation is either the Ryzen 7 1700 or the Ryzen 5 1600 that both come with the excellent Wraith Spire cooler and are all unlocked so you don’t miss much in the overclocking department.
Let us know what you think about these price cuts.
