AMD's CPU options have been dominating the market for several quarters, and now, they have appeared on Amazon's best-selling list, with Intel options seen nowhere.

AMD's X3D CPUs & Popular Zen4 Models Are Best-Selling Ones at Amazon; Intel SKUs Come Way Below The Line

It has been quite some time since we have seen Intel make a stride in the desktop CPU segment, as with the past few generations, Team Blue has found itself either mitigating large-scale issues or releasing lineups that come with disappointing performance. With that, AMD has managed to raise the market competition by coming up with offerings that surpass Intel in terms of performance, availability, and pricing. This has put AMD at the top in terms of adoption rates, and the firm has now managed to dominate Amazon's best-selling CPUs, which is a massive achievement.

As expected, one of the best-selling CPUs is the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which has been a top-notch offering by the firm, seeing traction due to the extra "3D V-Cache" tile, which has managed to take gaming performance to new levels. Interestingly, many options in the list are X3D CPUs, including the Zen 5 Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which shows that this lineup has played a massive role in increasing AMD's CPU market share, and most of all, gives them a competitive spot to play at. 3D V-Cache CPUs are expected to dominate moving into the future as well.

Other notable options are mainly from AMD's long-standing Zen4 CPU architecture, with CPUs such as the Ryzen 7 5800XT and 5700X3D. This shows that interest is there in AMD's old portfolio as well, and AM4 will continue to maintain its relevance in the upcoming years. When you talk about Intel, their first option comes in twelfth place, which is the Core i9-14900K, the flagship Raptor Lake CPU. This model is mainly selling due to its high-end performance relative to AMD's offering, but Intel hasn't managed to do much for the budget consumer.

AMD continues to dominate the CPU segment, and it won't take long before they gain a larger portion of the market, since Team Red's CPU offerings keep growing. On the other hand, Intel is still struggling, and we expect some breakthrough with Panther Lake desktop CPUs, which are set to arrive next year.
