Known Issues

The AMD Ryzen AI 300 "Strix" APUs appear near the top of the Processor Support table, clearly stating that it will only be compatible with Windows 11. Strix Point as we know from earlier reports, had dropped compatibility with Windows 10 and will only work with Windows 11-based high-end gaming laptops. This is to ensure that Ryzen AI 300 chips will be targeted solely at AI PC platforms running the latest version of Windows 11 (24H2) with support for Copilot+ coming in through a future update.

Apart from the bug fixes, a new program called 'AMD Interface Driver(AMD PCI, AMD SMBuS, AMD Hetero, AMD RCEC)' has also been added to the list of drivers.

'AMD PMF Ryzen AI 300 Series Driver' version 24.6.18.0 has also been added to offer full support for the new Strix Series on Windows 11.
