AMD's budget X3D offering in the Ryzen 7000 lineup is now getting listed on various retailers after nearly a year.
Once Exclusive to Just Two Retailers Worldwide, the Budget Ryzen 5 7600X3D is Now Available at Lambda-Tek for £299
AMD's one of the best budget X3D CPUs from the previous generation Zen 4 lineup is now expanding its availability to many regions. Last year, AMD launched the Ryzen 5 7600X3D processor after it released its first batch of Ryzen 9000 series CPUs. While the processor is based on the slower architecture, due to the higher L3 cache, it positioned itself as an excellent alternative to faster budget 9000 series CPUs for gaming.
Ryzen 5 7600X3D was launched as a MicroCenter-exclusive in the US, but it was also launched in Germany, but only available through Mindfactory. A month later, it was launched in China, but the rest of the world didn't see its appearance. Only today, we found out that AMD is now shipping the processor to more retailers, with the UK now being the fourth region where you can buy this processor.

The processor is currently listed on the LambdaTek website, which is one of the major UK retailers for PC hardware. The product page doesn't show the image and isn't yet in stock, but should be available in the inventory soon. It is listed at £299,57 including VAT and £249 without VAT at the retailer, which translates to US$400 including VAT. The CPU launched for $299 in the US and was launched at a similar price in China last year.

Ryzen 5 7600X3D uses the traditional 6-core/12-thread configuration but has significantly lower clock speeds than its non-X3D counterpart. While the 7600X boasts 4.7/5.3 GHz of base/boost clock, the Ryzen 7600X3D gets 4.1/4.7 GHz. Nonetheless, it's still able to outperform the latter in gaming and select applications due to 64 MB additional L3 cache through 3D V-Cache technology and is more power-efficienty with a TDP of 65W compared to 105W on the 7600X.
Specs aside, it looks as if AMD wants to sell this CPU in more regions, and it's possible we could see it at more retailers very soon. It will be an excellent AM5 budget gaming CPU, as the 7800X3D costs nearly $400 and the 7600X3D can deliver a better price-to-performance ratio.
