Radeon RX 9060 XT Gets Official Support With the Latest Adrenalin Edition; F1 2025, Star Wars Outlas, Stellar Blade, and Many Other Titles Will Now Support FSR 4

AMD has today released its latest Adrenalin Software version 25.6.1, which now offers full compatibility with the Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU. The GPU, which saw the launch yesterday, will join the RX 9070 series in the new software, offering better compatibility and control on the GPU. Along with the RX 90600 XT the 25.6.1 edition also adds support for the Radeon AI Pro R9700, which is a workstation GPU based on the RDNA 4 architectur and offers 32 GB GDDR6 memory.

The Radeon RX 9060 XT, as you might be aware of is AMD's latest NAVI 44-based GPU that is launched in both 8 GB and 16 GB versions. While the new Adrenalin software will offer maximum compatibility with the GPU, there are a few known issues AMD has highlighted in the release notes, including intermittent crashes in games like Marvel Spider 2 with Ray Tracing and The Last of Us Part 1. The Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny Remaster has been given full support in the latest Adrenalin driver as well.

Many bugs have also been fixed, but most importantly, more games are now on the FSR 4 support list. There are 14 new games which will now support AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 and the total number of FSR 4 supported games now exceeds 55 titles. There are 10 more titles that will be included in the upcomig updates, including Crimson Desert, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Mecha Break and others. The latest added titles include the following:

  • Deadzone: Rogue
  • F1 25
  • Frostpunk 2
  • Legacy: Steel & Sorcery
  • Lords of the Fallen
  • Planetaries
  • QANGA
  • Rem Survival
  • Runescape: Dragonwilds
  • Star Wars Outlaws
  • Steel Seed
  • Stellar Blade
  • Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O
  • Wild Assault

While the list is somewhat small compared to DLSS 4 games, AMD is catching up to NVIDIA, which currently offers over 125 games with DLSS 4 support. The FSR 4 at the moment will only work with the RDNA 4 GPUs and therefore, only RX 9070 series and RX 9060 XT owners will be able to turn on the latest AMD upscaling technique in the supported titles.
