The team Red isn't stopping, and has been continuously expanding its existing Ryzen lineups with newer processors.

AMD Quietly Launches Zen 2-Based Ryzen 7 4700LE Processor With Up To 4.2 GHz Boost Clock; Reserved for OEM Only

AMD appears to have enough inventory to keep releasing older Ryzen chips, which is evident from the new launches. While the company doesn't announce such launches publicly, they appear on the official website, confirming AMD's plan to expand the existing lineups.

As spotted by @Zed__Wang, AMD has silently launched its newest Zen 2 Renoir processor for the AM4 platform. The launch date mentioned is March 25, 2026, but we only spotted it recently since it was a quiet launch. The new Zen 2-based processor is named Ryzen 7 4700LE, which uses the Ryzen 4000 naming convention instead of Ryzen 3000.

You might expect it to be an APU similar to Ryzen 7 4700G, which was launched nearly six years ago for the AM4 platform, delivering Radeon Vega 8 graphics. However, the Ryzen 7 4700LE is not an APU and doesn't feature any integrated graphics. Ryzen 7 4700G brings the same 8-core/16-thread configuration, and boasts base and boost clocks of 3.6 GHz and 4.2 GHz, respectively.

It has a total L2+L3 cache of 12 MB, which positions it into the entry-level segment despite having 8 cores, which is usually not the case with the mainstream desktop Ryzen processors. The processor boasts a default TDP of 65W and 95°C as the max operating temperature.

As far as its availability goes, the Ryzen 7 4700LE won't be available as a standalone product for purchase. AMD mentions it as "OEM only", which means only system integrators will be able to sell it through their pre-built gaming systems. Interestingly, we already have one OEM selling it on Amazon US. It's the Qehi Prebuilt gaming PC that boasts Ryzen 7 4700LE paired with RTX 3050 for $799.
