AMD's Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 GPUs

It's good to see AMD's RDNA 4 GPUs dropping in prices, but the phenomenon isn't universal across all regions.

Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT Drop Below MSRP in Germany Despite Selling for Much Higher Prices in Other Regions

Ever since we heard about Radeon RX 9070 XT prices falling in Japan, we have also seen the prices for the flagship RDNA 4 GPU dropping in other regions and retailers. We saw RX 9070 XT dropping to under $700 on Amazon, but unfortunately, that doesn't tell the whole story. The RDNA 4 GPUs are still selling at higher prices than in the pre-RAMpocalypse era, but surprisingly, some EU regions are seeing some decent reduction in prices.

As per Gheizals, the retail prices for the Radeon RX 9070 series have dropped in prices noticeably. Some listings are so cheap that they are literally below MSRP. For instance, the Radeon RX 9070 launched at €629 in the EU region, but one can get an RX 9070 XT for as low as €553. Multiple RX 9070 editions are now available for under €600, and if you check pricing trends for individual editions, you will see that their prices were above €600 a few weeks ago.

Similarly, the flagship RDNA 4 GPU, i.e., the Radeon RX 9070 XT, is now below MSRP in Germany. The GPU launched at €689 in the EU region, but some editions are now available for under €650. The cheapest one is the ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Challenger, which is listed for just €640. Multiple listings are in the €640-€650 price range, and as per the price trends, these GPUs used to sell for nearly €700 a few weeks ago.

On the other hand, the prices in the US remain pretty high. PCPartPicker pricing trends show that the RX 9070 series has still faced poor pricing trends for the last several weeks and has seen no relief. Keep in mind that PCPartPicker doesn't include the data from Amazon US, but it still shows an accurate representation of the GPU prices.
