AMD Radeon HD7800 Slides Unveils Performance Figures, HD7870Ghz Edition 1.4x Faster then GeForce GTX570 – HD7850 1.25x Faster than GTX560Ti

AMD's Official HD7800 Series specs sheet got leaked yesterday, Now we have complete set of official slides which unveil the Gaming Performance Figures, Additional Specifications and the complete list of HD7870Ghz Edition (Pitcairn XT) and HD7850 (Pitcairn Pro) GPU's we would be seeing from various manufacturers during launch this month.

The Performance slides Pit the HD7870 Ghz Edition (1Ghz Core clock) against the GeForce GTX570 in various gaming benchmarks at 2560x1600 Resolution. Games include titles such as Battlefield 3, Batman: Arkham City, Skyrim, Shogun 2, Metro 2033, Crysis Warheard etc.

The card delivers an 1.4x average performance gain over the the GeForce GTX570. There's also a benifit from the higher memory buffer of 2GB on the HD7870 while the GTX570 only holds 1.25GB of VRAM.

Radeon HD7850 which comes at a Core clock of 860Mhz and compared to the GeForce GTX560TI in the same games at same resolution. The card provides a 1.25x times average performance gain over GTX560Ti. Specifications of the cards are listed below:
