Apple took a different route with its latest AirPods 4 by introducing two versions; one that supports Active Noise Cancellation and one that does not. The company introduced a favorable pricing range to help customers get excited about owning a pair of these wireless earbuds, but Amazon has an even better offer for you. Both the regular and Active Noise Cancellation versions of the AirPods 4 have been discounted by the online retailer, and they now start from $119 instead of $129.
As for the premium version, these start from $169 instead of $179. Regardless of which option you choose, you get to save $10, which might not matter for a lot of buyers out there, but you have to remember that these wireless earbuds came out just a few days ago and are immediately more affordable than before. Best of all, there is now a bigger price difference between the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation and the AirPods Pro 2, with the latter going for $189 and comes with a USB-C wireless charging case.
The biggest difference here is that the AirPods Pro 2 will cancel out the noise better thanks to the silicone tips, but that does not make the AirPods 4 any less appealing. After all, both versions are equipped with Apple’s advanced custom H2 chip and ship with newer features such as Adaptive Audio, Transparency Mode, and Conversation Awareness. Should you choose to upgrade to the more premium AirPods 4, these come with a case that supports wireless charging and a speaker that emits a sound when you try to locate it using Find My.
When it comes to listening time, without Active Noise Cancellation activated, the AirPods 4 will last for 5 hours. With the feature enabled, you can get up to 4 hours, making it less than the AirPods Pro 2’s endurance. Then again, with a price like the one you are getting right now, it is honestly hard to complain and even more surprising that Amazon introduced a discount so early.
