The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is going to hit the global market in three days, but that has not stopped the company from releasing the device in China. The phone brings everything that we had hoped for and more, and if you have been looking for a powerful smartphone, then this is the phone that you should go for.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra brings a massive 1-inch sensor to the phone. This is the new and improved Sony sensor that is making the waves in the tech world, so you can expect a number of improvements over the previous 1-inch sensor that we are seeing.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra uses the legendary Sony LYT-900 primary sensor. It is a 50-megapixel sensor with dual aperture that goes from f/1.63 to f/4.0. Xiaomi claims that the sensor is able to capture a whopping 136% more light, which is impressive, to say the least. The rest of the camera system is just as impressive, with an ultra-wide camera and two telephoto lenses. One of them offers a 3.2x optical zoom, and the other offers a 5x optical zoom. All four cameras offer a 50-megapixel resolution, so if you are pixel-peeper, you should not really have any issues.
Cameras aside, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is an impressive device as it offers a 6.73-inch OLED LTPO display with 3200x1440 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can go as bright as 3,000 nits and uses Shield Glass. Xiaomi claims that this glass is 10x stronger when it comes to drops.
Of course, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is packed to the brim with impressive hardware. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and you are also getting up to 16 gigabytes of RAM and 1TB of storage. The phone runs Android 14 out of the box, which is based on HyperOS. You are also getting a 5,300 mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging.
The phone is available in the regular aluminum version, but there is also the Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Special Edition, which also offers two-way satellite communication. The phone is now available in China for the starting price of CNY 6,499, and it will, of course, cost a pretty penny in the international market when it launches there in three days.
