XCOM 2 is one of the more anticipated games releasing in the next few weeks and Fireaxis Games has been showing more of the game lately so to get strategy games fans even more excited. A few hours ago another XCOM 2 gameplay video has surfaced online, showcasing many of the game's features.

The new XCOM 2 gameplay video has been shared by PC Gamer and showcases plenty of gameplay features such as units, character customization, a few different missions and much more. Members of Fireaxis Games were also present during the recording of the video to talk more about their upcoming game. You can check out the video right below.

XCOM 2 is a turn based tactical video game like the XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The new game will take place 20 years after the events of the previous entry, where humanity has been defeated by aliens, with XCOM becoming nothing more than a resistance force.

Earth has changed. Twenty years have passed since world leaders offered an unconditional surrender to alien forces. XCOM, the planet’s last line of defense, was left decimated and scattered. Now, in XCOM 2, the aliens rule Earth, building shining cities that promise a brilliant future for humanity on the surface, while concealing a sinister agenda and eliminating all who dissent from their new order.

Only those who live at the edges of the world have a margin of freedom. Here, a force gathers once again to stand up for humanity. Always on the run, and facing impossible odds, the remnant XCOM forces must find a way to ignite a global resistance, and eliminate the alien threat once and for all.

XCOM 2 will be released on February 5th on PC. The game is currently available for pre-order on Steam.
