Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, the latest action role-playing by Japanese developer Team NINJA, is launching next week, but players can try out the game's first two story Chapters starting today thanks to a new demo that is now available on all formats.

The playable demo, which will be available from today until March 26th, allows players to customize their characters and play through Chapter 1: Village of Calamity and Chapter 2: Two Chivalrous Heroes. Having been able to try out these two chapters a while back, I feel they are a great introduction to the world of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and its unique gameplay mechanics. By completing the demo, players will also receive a special "Crouching Dragon Helmet" item when transferring their progress to the game's final version.

To mark the demo's launch and the game's impending release, Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA released a Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty launch trailer today. The trailer, which can be watched below, provides a look at the many historical heroes of the Three Kingdoms era that players will meet during their journey.

As mentioned above, I had the chance to try out the first two Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Story Chapters earlier this year, and what I played left me hungering for more, as the fast-paced combat experience is extremely engaging. You can learn more about the game by checking out my preview.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty releases on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One next week, on March 2nd. The game will also launch on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox consoles and PC on the same day.
