Popular memory maker V-Color has launched a new memory-filler combo kit for gamers who want a flexible way of populating their DIMM slots without needing to buy multiple real memory modules. V-Color has launched its 1+1 Value Pack, featuring either a 24 GB + Filler kit or a 16 GB + Filler Kit combo, each offering a real memory module + a fake one to populate two slots together on a motherboard. For users who don't want to buy two modules, they can utilize this kit to fill their leftover slots, and can also opt for a 2+2 configuration. With such flexibility, users will be able to add more memory capacity later to maintain a full four-DIMM RGB visual presentation.

The goal of this 1+1 DDR5 solution is to give gamers a more flexible and accessible way to start their DDR5 build without sacrificing appearance or future upgrade potential,

This 1+1 kit was launched to combat the current DRAM market conditions. While memory filler modules aren't new, with worsening DDR5 availability, memory manufacturers are now debuting RAM configurations with filler modules for those who can't afford expensive RAM kits. The V-Color RAM kits will be available under the Manta DDR5 XSky and the Manta DDR5 XFinity, offering 16 GB and 24 GB memory capacity on each stick, respectively.

Both kits are expected to launch soon through official channels and will be available on major retailers such as Newegg.
