One user on Reddit has now successfully managed to run the OpenClaw AI Agent on his MSI Cubi Mini PC. The redditor stated that he was unable to install the assistant while running Windows OS, despite using various tutorials and guides, but got it working under Linux OS.

It is said that several other users have reported that Linux is easier to use when running AI agents versus Windows, and with Ubuntu (Curl Package) installed, he indeed managed to get Clawbot running without any issues. The MSI Cubi Mini PC has an advantage here since it fully supports and is compatible with the Linux OS.

Honestly, OpenClaw impress me a lot. The AI Agent can control the PC front me, open file, check your data. Although, give AI agent a full access power a PC is kind of dangerous. Need to worry about data leak or hacker's problem. The other big issue is API/Token cost. I only use a week and ask my agent for assistance in daily work. The API billing cost $150, then brave API under 100 times. It still under the free plan, so I don’t have to pay any cost. But, if I want to use this function full time, I believe the cost at least cost $1000. hopely, AI technology can keep improve reduce the token size lower the cost. And want developer can improve the windows installation. I believe most people still use Windows to work. I still want to install OpenClaw on Windows platform. Thanks’ my Cubi can compatible Linux otherwise I may not can test it.
