Upcoming Gmail Feature Wants to Make it Easy for You When Unsubscribing to Annoying Emails

Gmail has become a quintessential app for emailing people, and considering how it is the defacto account that you use on your Android devices, its importance is far more than some people might think. However, the one pesky aspect about it, or more like every other texting or emailing platform, is the fact that annoying marketing ads can be a hard way to get rid of.

Gmail's big unsubscribe button just adds a cherry on top of an excellent app

Now, there is always an option to unsubscribe to emails that you receive, but the unsubscribe button is a lot smaller than what most people are used to, and if you are using a larger screen, it is even harder to spot. Thankfully, Gmail is changing that and bringing a much larger and more prominent feature that will help you eliminate any marketing email you don't want.

As you can see in the images above, the button is big enough to be spotted even on larger screens. The feature is currently available on the latest version of the app, but it is not really available to everyone at the time of writing. This means that we will have to wait for Google to come out with the feature.

Honestly, I am actually glad that Gmail is getting a more prominent button for unsubscribing because, in its current state, it is rather small and can be irritating at times. We are going to have to wait for the final version of the app to get this feature, but knowing Google, it should not take them long, and the feature will be up and running in no time.
