It hasn't been long since the Galaxy S24 series hit the stores, but the one thing I really find surprising is how we have not seen software updates. As a matter of fact, Samsung has not pushed a single software update for the phone. However, that appears to be changing as we finally have some information on what the next update will bring to the table, and honestly, it seems that Samsung is looking to help the users.
Samsung has finally opened up about the Galaxy S24 issues - releasing the software update this month to fix a myriad of issues
Based on the latest information we have received, the Galaxy S24 users are actually getting a handful of changes via the new update. For starters, the phone is finally getting the Vividness Slider. You will be able to find this slider under Settings > Display > Advanced Settings. Once the feature is available, you will be manually able to adjust your device's settings without any issues. This feature was requested a lot after people complained that their phones were suffering from vibrancy issues. So you now have good news that you will not have to deal with it going forward.
There is not much of an issue here since the display on the Galaxy S24 series offers colors that are more natural. However, some users are having issues and claiming that these colors are not vivid enough. Samsung is trying to sort this out and ensure they are catering to what the users want.
In addition to that, the new update will also bring several improvements to the camera on the Galaxy S24 series. The company has talked about how it will work, improving the zoom functionality, Portrait Mode, Nightography, rear camera video shooting, and more. Although Samsung did not mention specific changes, it is safe to assume that the changes will be big and make the user experience even better.
If you are wondering about a timeline, then Samsung has promised that the update will start rolling out sometime this month to all three Galaxy S24 devices. Considering how we are halfway through February, you can expect the update to be available to everyone pretty soon, and we will keep you posted when it actually rolls out to everyone.
Although I did not get the chance to use the Galaxy S24, it is always good that the company is committed to providing a great experience to everyone. If you have been facing software-related issues with your device, this certainly is a great thing, and you will be able to have a great overall experience with the phone itself.
