Rebel Wolves' open-world RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker has been in the works for some time and will finally make its debut this year on PC and consoles. When this will happen exactly will be revealed next week during a Road to Launch Event, where more information on the game will be shared alongside its release date.

The event, which will stream on April 28th at 9:00 AM PDT / 6:00 PM CEST / 5:00 PM BST, will also feature new gameplay, a new story trailer, the PC system requirements, and all the details on the game's editions.

"We are getting closer and closer to the most important milestone in our four-year development journey – the release of The Blood of Dawnwalker, the first chapter of our original dark fantasy saga," commented Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director of The Blood of Dawnwalker. "On behalf of the entire Rebel Wolves studio, I would like to invite all players to the upcoming stream, during which you will not only get the start date of your adventure in Vale Sangora, but also see the gameplay changes we have implemented over the past months, with a particular focus on activities tied to the game’s open world."

Despite Rebel Wolves being a new development studio, The Blood of Dawnwalker immediately captured the attention of open-world RPG fans worldwide, as Game Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz also directed one of the best games of all time: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

With an open-ended experience reminiscent of pen-and-paper RPGs with no distinction between main and side quests, and different ways for protagonist Coen to save his family depending on the time of day that determines if he can use his vampiric abilities, Rebel Wolves' first game is set to become another great RPG to play for fans of the genre in a stacked year. Tomaszkiewicz also recently said he does not fear comparisons with CD Projekt RED's The Witcher series.
