Suda51's studio, Grasshopper Manufacture (GhM) has announced that it will host its third direct presentation next week on December 5, 2025. The presentation will focus on updates for Romeo Is A Dead Man, which confirms that recent rumors about new Romeo Is A Dead Man information coming soon were true.

The direct will go live on the studio's YouTube channel on Thursday, December 4, at 5pm PST, 8pm EST and Friday, December 5, at 1am GMT, 2am CET, and 10am JST. According to a press release for the direct, we'll get to see "a behind-the-scenes look at the game's development, together with never before seen gameplay."

With the game recently getting rated in Korea, this announcement could be a release date reveal for 2026, though at the very least it sounds like we'll get to see some gameplay at next week's event.

During Gamescom 2025, Wccftech's Francesco De Meo got to play a bit of Romeo Is A Dead Man, and he got the chance to speak with Suda51 on the upcoming game. At the time, he wrote, "Romeo is a Dead Man is not only a Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda51 game through and through, it's also a title that isn't afraid to be a simple video game, somewhat going against the trend of trying to make games as realistic as possible. With a very personable feel, a wacky story mixing dark humor and gory violence in true Suda51 fashion and and an experience that feels fun right from the beginning, I feel Romeo is a Dead Man has the potential of becoming one of the best games ever released by Grasshopper Manufacture, and one I am very much looking forward to in a packed 2026."
